SHOPWARE, Inc. had its beginnings as a hobby of Donn
Leiske, who was a Vocational /Technical Instructor at Wishkah
High School, Aberdeen, WA. The hobby became a business in 1983
from the kitchen table of the family home. 13 years later, when
Leiskes sold SHOPWARE, Inc. to one of their dealers, Cambridge
Educational of Charleston, WV, the company had produced about
1400 items that teachers use in educating students in various
vocational subject areas. PC and Mac computer software, videos,
and curriculum materials are available for the following subject
areas: Agriculture/Agribusiness, Applied Math, Applied Vocational
Math, Business Education/Entrepreneurship, Communications Technology,
Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Design/Drafting/CAD/CAM,
Electricity/Electronics, Engineering Technology, Fiber Optics
& Lasers, Health Occupations (including Certified Nursing
Assistant), Home Economics, Math for Principles of Technology,
Metals Technology, Power Mechanics, Principles of Technology,
Robotics Technology, Tech Prep, and Technology Education.
