Shown-n-Shine on the Lawn
This event was the one
of the most attended ARC events yet. Many members were involved
in organizing this activity, with Morauskes being the contacts,
Bresees and Steffensens making the "goodie bags," Losses
providing the dash plaques, Leiskes doing publicizing, and Littles
providing a surprise 50th birthday party for ARC member Jeff Little,
complete with balloons, sparklers and strawberry shortcake for
50 people. The weather was perfect and 31 special interest vehicles
participated. There was a steady flow of spectators.
Harper Bishop is the oldest living Auburn Academy
student. At the age of 94 he poses with his wife, Hazel, next
to the car that he bought from the original owner. They recently
sold the car to an ARC member. All three owners were Seventh-day
Adventists.
