5th Annual ARC Seaside "Weekend Getaway"

Ruth and Dr. LeRoy Nelson arranged camping reservations for ARC members to camp together at Fort Stevens State Park, while Dan and Janice Cary planned the schedule of events for the enjoyable weekend. The club put on the church service at the Longbeach SDA Church on Sabbath, followed by an ARC fellowship dinner. The afternoon was spent cruising in the cars to various beautiful coastal vistas, ending with a potluck supper at the State Park at Canon Beach. We sang songs as the sun went down with a spetacular sunset. We then we cruised the Seaside, OR, rod run, where the city streets were blocked off to make room for the rods. Sunday we cruised the Seaside Rod Run again, this time taking the time to take in all the sites.
